Favorite October Recipes

We all had the stomach bug last week and now I have a baby with her second double ear infection in three weeks (yay, tubes here we come) so I’m giving myself a little grace on writing a full post. But we still have to eat so I’m sharing my current favorite recipes! I’ve also made 3 of these in the last 24 hours. Trying to get my feet on the ground after the wave of sick. 

You may want to keep the first 3 for post-Halloween sugar detox and make the cookies for tonight! Everyone wins.


I made these meatballs last night for dinner. We had a late doctor’s appointment so I threw these meatballs together (they are that easy, I promise) and left them in the crockpot. Dinner was ready when we got home. And all the people said, Amen!

I made this a few weeks ago and we loved it. There is a chance I also put this in the crockpot because I love that thing… But maybe just follow her directions.

I love love love this Banana Bread for breakfast. One of my kids will eat it, still working on the other. But I’m not sure I’m always willing to share. Today I used vanilla beans instead of the extract, that might be my new vanilla of choice!
